Cosmic Mending Kit™

You are invited to contribute your Cosmic Mending Kit™. It must be original and not have been exhibited anywhere before. Just click on the tabs above to upload your image or video.

How to create your own Cosmic Mending Kit™

Think of your Cosmic Mending Kit™as a treasure chest of your most cherished items, objects, thoughts, experiences, memories, songs, poems, people, pets, places or stuff that make you feel good, delighted, hopeful, inspired, or right in your world. Whatever you decide to include can be physical, metaphorical, kooky, crazy, iconic, beautiful, silly or sensible. Your kit can represent ideas, thoughts, or be something solid, tangible and touchable. You choose. This is your kit, your world.

My hope is that we'll be uplifted by each others most cherished creations to help us live the lives we envision for ourselves.

Tips:

Be brief - the less words the better.

Be legible - make sure it’s readable and clear.

Be creative - let your imagination be your canvas.

Use any medium - photography, video, original art etc.

Welcome to the Cosmic Mending Kit™

Dear Friends,

How the Cosmic Mending Kit™ came to be...

One night, during my writing group, (a group of us who have written together once a week for 9 years) I wrote about what would go into my Cosmic Mending Kit™.

Everyone was so intrigued we decided we’d all write about what would go into our kits. From that one session I got the idea that all of us had a cosmic mending kit in us. We know what comforts us and nourishes us when we feel the pressures of life get to be too much.

I thought why not create a shared place where we can provide a kind of sanctuary whenever we feel the need for it? Thus The Cosmic Mending Kit™ was born.

I hope you’ll send us yours and enjoy the kits of others.

In Peace,

Susan Harrow

P.S. Then I thought about, what is the ultimate Cosmic Mending Kit™? It’s not something outside ourselves but peacefulness inside. To “be peace.” So there is another section of this site where you can visit, to “Be the change you want to see in the world.” as Gandhi said. What better way to “be” than to feel peace and send it on to someone else. The ultimate cosmic telegram. So I invite you to click on the cosmic calendar to send peace to someone who needs it.

A Sign Of Change

Last night, after dark I heard a knock at the door. My two young daughters ran to peek thru the window to see who it was. I opened the door and there was a man standing there. I explained that I couldn't purchase or donate anything right now and he seemingly worn down, turned and walked away. My 8 year old daughter asked "who was that?", "I don't know" I replied- then my 4 year old said with great expression "Mama! I think that might have been the President, it looked just like him and I have my… Continue

Cosmic Mending Kit Story!!!!!

COSMIC CHRISSIE AND CHARLIE THE CAT, AND THEIR ADVENTURES IN THE UNIVERSE AND BEYOND. THE SICK SEA….

Chapter One

Charlie the cat jumped onto the lily bed and started biting Cosmic Chrissies feet. “Wake up” he purred, his green eyes bigger than ever “There’s an urgent Starrygram from Kris the Knowledgeable one”

Cosmic Chrisssie fluttered her eyelashes three times and was awake. “OK, you can lay off the feet now Charlie it tickles, what does it say?”

Charlie stopped biting long enough to say “… Continue

great idea

I love this idea. I live in a rather small town, so connecting with like minded artists who care about the enviornment through the internet is a great opportunity. I find it very stimulating.
